Aaron Trocki publishes in international journal

Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics published a full length research report in the international journal, Digital Experiences in Mathematics Education.

Assistant Professor of Mathematics Aaron Trocki and Karen Hollebrands of N.C. State University published their full-length, peer-reviewed research report titled “The Development of a Framework for Assessing Dynamic Geometry Task Quality” in Digital Experiences in Mathematics Education.  His Dynamic Geometry Task Analysis Framework encourages the utilization of dynamic geometry technology for fostering reasoning and conceptual understanding.

Digital Experiences in Mathematics Education is a premier outlet for original, peer-reviewed research on technology use in mathematics education. The aim of this journal is to understand and enhance changes in the nature of worthwhile mathematical work that can be performed by learning with digital technologies. Trocki’s article was co-authored by Hollebrands, distinguished professor at N.C. State University.
