KCSL: Burlington Carousel Festival Girl Scout Site

The Carousel Festival is a family-friendly community event during which the Girl Scouts of Alamance County have a tented location in the Under the Trees section of the park.

Volunteers would determine and implement fun activities to engage youth (in particular, girls) when they visit the Girl Scout table. If any families have interest in Girl Scout membership for their girls, volunteers would share flyers containing upcoming Girl Scout events/activities and collect the contact information of the interested families so Girl Scout staff can contact them to answer any questions at a later time.

The event will take place on Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Burlington City Park. Two volunteers are needed per two-hour shift.

Interested volunteers are invited to contact Reisha Drumgold directly at 336-369-7463 or rdrumgold@girlscoutsp2p.org.

All Elon students must complete Title IX Training on Moodle before volunteering in the community. Your agency may also require a criminal background check. Please click here for more information: https://www.elon.edu/u/title-ix/.
