A variety of contests for Elon teams this week have been canceled due to Hurricane Florence.
Elon Athletics has canceled a variety of contests scheduled for the university’s teams later this week due to the anticipated impact from Hurricane Florence.
With Hurricane Florence churning in the Atlantic Ocean, Elon University Athletics has been closely monitoring the forecast related to the storm and its potential impacts to upcoming home and away events for each of its teams and student-athletes.
University officials have been in regular communication with representatives of opposing institutions, the Colonial Athletic Association, meteorologists and regional emergency management services. Any additional changes to scheduled events will be posted on ElonPhoenix.com and shared with fans via social media and other communication channels. As always, the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, event staff and fans is a top priority.
The Elon Ticket Office and Phoenix Club office will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
