Elon celebrating Campus Sustainability Week Oct. 22-26

The week offers multiple opportunities to examine sustainable habits and learn about the university's sustainability practices.

Campus Sustainability Week is an opportunity for Elon students, faculty and staff to come together to examine sustainable habits, particularly as they relate to energy use, and inspire positive sustainable change throughout the Elon community.

It is also an opportunity to learn about and celebrate Elon University’s current sustainable practices. A variety of events will take place throughout the week.

A key feature of the week is an energy competition. This competition will educate and empower students, faculty and staff to conserve energy throughout campus and illustrate the impact of developing habits that support energy conservation. Prizes include hammocks, Phoenix Cash, solar chargers and more!. See the Office of Sustainability Website for a full list of competition criteria and prizes.
