Jennifer Eidum awarded Council of Writing Program Administrators grant

The assistant professor of English received a $1,000 grant from the national association

Jennifer Eidum, Assistant Professor of English, received $1,000 from the Council of Writing Program Administrators for her project, “Reflective Writing and Programmatic Identity: A Cross-Institutional Study of First Year Students’ Reflections.”

These funds will allow Eidum and colleagues from Florida State University and Marquette University to create a corpus of reflective writing prompts and essays from all three universities. They will meet in the spring to analyze the corpus, and they will share their results at the CWPA conference in the summer of 2019.

The Council of Writing Program Administrators is a national association of college and university faculty with professional interests in directing writing programs.
