Kelly Reagan ’17, Associate Professor of Mathematics Karen Yokley and Professor of Mathematics Crista Arangala recently published an article that uses a mathematical model to describe the transmission of dengue fever among neighboring populations.

The paper, “Simulations on a Mathematical Model of Dengue Fever with a Focus on Mobility,” presents Reagan’s research from the Elon College Fellows program.  The article appears in Volume 5 of The North Carolina Journal of Mathematics and Statistics.
