Music Students win N.C. vocal competition

The trio will now compete at the Mid-Atlantic NATS Regional competition to be held in March

Three Elon music majors were winners and regional qualifiers at the recent National Association of Teachers of Singing State Classical vocal competition held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Emily Trainor (student of Polly Cornelius) won third place in Senior College Women.  

Julianne Papadopolous (student of Hallie Hogan) also advanced to regionals in the Senior College Women category, and Ross Cohen (student of Polly Cornelius) advanced to the regionals in Sophomore College Men.

Trainor, Papadopolous and Cohen will compete at the Mid-Atlantic NATS Regional competition that will be held March 21-13 at Towson University in Towson, Maryland .
