Elon names 2012-2013 Sustainability Faculty Scholars

The eight scholars were selected based on his or her interest in learning about sustainability and infusing it in the classroom.

The following Elon University faculty members have been selected for the 2012-2013 Sustainability Faculty Scholars program.

Faculty applied to the program because of their interest in incorporating or enhancing a focus on sustainable principles and practices in their courses. Scholars will be provided with relevant sustainability resources and pedagogies through a variety of unique opportunities such as speakers, workshops, field trips, and article/book discussions.

Applicants were selected based on his or her interest in learning about sustainability and infusing it in the classroom. Selection was also based on a diverse representation of disciplines from across the university.

This program is sponsored by the Center for Environmental Studies, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, and the Office of Sustainability; and funding has been provided by the Office for Business, Finance and Technology.
