The award, presented by the National Communication Association’s Public Relations Division, is the only national award recognition for best book, article and contribution to PR education in the public relations field. The award winners are selected by a committee of elected NCA PR Division members.

Austin’s article in the special journal issue was co-authored with Elizabeth Toth from the University of Maryland, College Park and is titled, “Exploring ethics education in global public relations curricula: Analysis of international curricula descriptions and interviews with public relations educators.” Bush and Miller’s co-authored article is titled, “U.S. student-run agencies: Organization, attributes and adviser perceptions of student learning outcomes.”

The PRIDE Award was presented at the National Communication Association Conference in Orlando, Fla.  Both articles can be found online at the journal’s website: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/03638111/37/5.
