Five students awarded CFA scholarships

The Department of Finance in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has awarded Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) student scholarships to five students.

The scholarship recipients are seniors David Brown, Carl Brunaes, Trevor Cummings, JP Riley and Justin Wanner. The scholarship will enable them to enroll for the CFA Level I exam at a significantly reduced cost.

The students were selected based on academic skills and keen interest in careers as financial analysts. Neeraj Gupta, CFA, assistant professor of finance, will serve as their faculty mentor.

The CFA charter is the designation of excellence in the investment community.
