Free Trip to the International Civil Rights Museum- Jan. 13

As part of our Winter Term diversity initiative, the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Office of Student Development will sponsor a trip to the International Civil Rights Museum in Greensboro, NC on Sunday, Jan. 3. Space is limited to 50 participants and the trip is free. Students, faculty and staff may complete the registration at http://survey.fs.elon.edu/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.cgi?idx=J4PEYF

Participants should plan to meet at Boney Fountain (Moseley Center) no later than 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. If participants are not checked in by 12:55, their reservation will be forfeited to someone on standby.

Vans will leave promptly at 1 p.m. All participants should take the transportation provided as parking is very limited in downtown Greensboro. Once we arrive in Greensboro, we will tour the International Civil Rights museum and then will make our way to The Elon Law School for refreshments and to reflect on our experiences. The reflection exercise will be led by our own Leon Williams, Director of the Multicultural Center. We will depart for campus between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Participants are invited to join us when we return to campus for dinner and fellowship together.

Questions may be directed to the Office of Student Development at (336) 278-7200.
