Meet Elon’s newest employees

Joseph Baranello, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Joseph Baranello is originally from Oradell, N.J. He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from William Paterson University. Prior to coming to Elon, Joseph was a graduate assistant and strength and conditioning coach at the University of Central Oklahoma; strength and conditioning assistant coach at Fordham University; sports performance coach at The Edge Gym; and director of strength and conditioning for Fair Lawn High School football. In his spare time, he is a competitive power lifter.

Garry Graham, Associate Director of Design

Garry Graham, who hails from Montreal, Canada, received his bachelor’s degree from Concordia University. Prior to joining the staff in university communications, Garry was the creative director for Focus on the Coast magazine, and art director at McGill University. He and wife Debra have a black Persian cat. Garry enjoys table tennis, guitar, biking and travel. He decided to join Elon’s staff because he saw it as a great opportunity to get back into academics. He wanted to apply his skills to promote higher education at a top institution with great people.

John Pardini, Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach

John Pardini received his master’s degree from Fordham University. He is originally from Smithtown, N.Y. Prior to joining Elon, John was a social studies teacher at Western Alamance High School. He has a cat and enjoys playing hockey and football in his spare time.

   
 

Elon’s Newest Arrivals

Chad Aldridge, fleet mechanic in automotive services, and wife Blair welcomed their son, Eli Colton, on Jan. 15.

Laura Taylor, assistant professor of statistics, and husband Chris Bayden welcomed twins, Sarah Jane and Katherine Elizabeth, on Jan. 27.

MarQuita Barker, associate director of residence life, and husband Robert welcomed their son, Ian Monroe, on Jan. 28. He joined sister Isley.

Ayesha Delpish, associate professor of statistics and chair of the department of mathematics and statistics, and husband Ritson welcomed their son, Aiden Frederic, on Feb. 9.

Stacy Outlaw, director of undergraduate programs for the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, and husband Cecil welcomed their son, Nicholas Bryce, on March 18.

Ted Perlak, head strength and conditioning coach, and wife Christine welcomed their daughter, Rueby Mae, on March 21.

Rachel Force, assistant professor psychology, and husband Matt welcomed their son, Ezra Robin, on April 2. He joined big sister, Esther.

Jeffrey Coker, associate professor of biology and director of general studies, and wife Beth welcomed their son, Jonas Walden, on April 2.
