Volunteers needed to help at the Blessed Sacrament School after school program.
The Blessed Sacrament School is looking for volunteers to help with their after school program, Club Knight Smart. Students range from age 3 to 12 and the program takes place from 3-6 p.m.
Blessed Sacrament School is looking for students to have a sustained commitment in order to build relationships with the students. Volunteers are needed to supervise small groups as they complete homework or read in the library from 3-4. Playground assistants are wanted to help supervise the playground from 3:45-4:30. Lastly, teaching assistants are needed from 4:30-5:30 to aid in teaching a four-week enrichment course.
Material ranges from science, technology, engineering, theater, and art. The lead teacher will provide the lesson plans and materials. Interested volunteers are invited to contact Chelsea Wilson directly at (336) 570-0019 or at cwilson@bssknights.org.
