David Crowe to host international law conference

History professor David Crowe will host the 2012 Conference on International Law at the Elon Law School on Feb. 25.

The 2012 Conference on International Law at Elon University School of Law will focus on “War Crimes, Human Rights, and Immigration.”

Hosted by History Professor David Crowe, the conference will feature panels on war and the question of ‘command responsibility;’ war crimes and human rights; human rights, corruption and poverty; and immigration and human rights.

A number of Elon graduates from the History & Geography Department will deliver papers and the conference will feature a luncheon speech by Angolan human rights activist, Rafael Marques de Morais. This event is open to all Elon students and faculty.
