Join the Washington, D.C. Chapter to network with alumni at Cause: The PhilanthroPub. Cause operates like any normal restaurant and bar, however, 100% of net profits are donated to select non-profit organizations operating both locally and internationally. Patrons will be able to select the organization that receives their profits on their bill.
Cause is currently supporting the following charitable organizations:
– Agora Partnerships aims to scale the growth of early-stage companies throughout Latin America that are helping solve critical problems in the community.
– Common Good City Farm is an urban farm and education center growing food with and for low-income residents in Washington, D.C.
– Higher Achievement is a center that provides rigorous after-school and summer programs to close the opportunity gaps for middle school youth in at-risk communities in Pittsburgh, PA, Richmond, VA and Washington, D.C.
– Martha’s Table engages the community in developing sustainable solutions to poverty by helping with education, nutrition, clothing and family support programs in Washington, D.C.
