Thomas Tiemann, Jefferson Pilot Professor of Economics, presented a paper, "Soviet Central Planning and the Sizes of Cities," at the 51st annual meeting of the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies held in Greensboro, N.C., on March 21-23.
Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences, was a co-sponsor of the conference.
