The Writing Excellence Initiative has created four kinds of grants to support faculty and Student Life projects designed to improve the writing of Elon students.

These grants support projects that will help students learn to write better and learn more through writing in high-enrollment, multi-section courses or in groups of related courses. They are awarded to groups of faculty in the same department or program. Grants are also available for analogous, high-impact projects in Student Life.
