Harvey-Newlin Elementary School is putting on an Art Showcase and Parent Appreciation Day on May 13 and needs volunteers to help them prepare and get everything ready for the presentation from now until the special day.
Volunteers are requested to assist Mrs. Aylor, the art teacher, any day(s) Monday through Friday between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. until May 13.
Projects Include:
*Organize students’ artwork
*Draw a cherry tree on large paper for display of 5th grade’s cherry blossoms onto a 42″ x 42″ board
*Display 1st and 2nd grader’s lanterns in front display case and in gym
*Display muppets in cafeteria after muppet show
*Displaying 4th graders’ NC habitats in the hall leading to cafeteria
