Elon alumnus receives American Business Award

Peter Bock '11 was honored with a Silver Stevie Award for his work in marketing for Everblue.

Peter Bock ’11 has been awarded a Silver Stevie Award in the Marketer of the Year category by the American Business Awards for his contributions as a marketing analyst for Everblue, a leading sustainability training provider based in Huntersville, N.C.

The awards, which are held annually, recognize achievement in business across a variety of U.S. businesses. Bock, a political science and international studies graduate, was honored for his 2012 accomplishments, which included drafting and implementing various marketing strategies related to market research, content marketing and social media.

“A true asset to our team, Peter works hard and displays leadership qualities in every facet of his work,”  said Lesley Cowie ’10, Everblue’s marketing manager. “He’s very deserving of this award, and I’m proud to have him representing Everblue.”

More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Executive of the Year. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process this year.
