Professor of English Rosemary Haskell presented a paper co-authored with Professor of Sociology Thomas Arcaro at the annual meeting of the Global Studies Association conference held at Palos Verdes, Calif., June 7-9.
The paper, titled “Understanding the Global Experience: Shaping Responsible World Citizens in Global Studies Classrooms,” advocated the unification of global studies curricula through a focus on defining, exploring and teaching the theory and practice of global citizenship.
