"Christmas" has been nominated for consideration in the 56th Grammy Awards by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. 

Professor of Music Jon Metzger is a part of a recording, “Christmas,” with Neena Freelon and the John Brown Big Band that has been nominated for consideration for the 56th Grammy Awards by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. 

Metzger conducted the recording sessions for the album.
