Come to the Student Professional Development Center (Moseley 140) to learn more about this nine-week pogram.
bridges is a 9-week program that runs from late May through early August for May graduates interested in launching their careers in Los Angeles or New York City.
Recent graduates participating will:
- Live in apartment-style housing in Los Angeles or New York City for the duration of the program
- Participate in a week-long intensive seminar series focused on job search strategies, personal finance skills, relocation information and alumni and professional networking
- Connect with alumni mentors who can ease the personal and professional transition to life in the city
- Have weekly scheduled and on-request individual career advising services with an on-site Career Advisor to assist them with their job search.
Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in scheduled events such as tours of the city, museums, landmarks, movie nights and sporting events.
bridges is open to recent graduates from majors and will run from May 31 until Aug. 5. The program is limited to 16 participants. The total cost of is $4,500 (includes housing, career advising, networking events, and activities).
Applications will be available online beginning Feb. 14 and priority will be given to applications received on or before March 1.
