Mark Kurt and Paul Geis have published “Assessing Global Awareness over Short-Term Study Abroad Sequence: A Factor Analysis”

The article by Mark Kurt, assistant professor economics, Neal H. Olitsky (UMass-Dartmouth), and Paul Geis, associate director of study abroad, appears in the current volume of Frontiers: the Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad.  Kurt and Geis gathered data on Elon University students participating in Winter Term study abroad programs for the research project over the fall of 2011 and winter of 2012.  They previously presented part of their findings at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Bi-Regional Conference in fall 2012.
