Alumnus David Morrow II ’07 L’10 receives Trailblazer Award

The award, given by the National Bar Association, recognizes young lawyers under the age of 40 who demonstrate unprecedented achievement in law practice, politics, business or public service.

Founded in 1925, the NBA is the oldest and largest bar association of African American attorneys. Morrow received the award during a July 27 gala held as part of the organization’s 89th annual convention.

In the award announcement, the selection committee wrote Morrow was being honored for achieving prominence and distinction in his field of endeavor and demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the goals and mission of the NBA.

In 2013, Morrow received the organization’s Junius W. Williams Young Lawyer of the Year Award, which is given annually to acknowledge the innumerable contributions young lawyers have made to our society and the NBA in particular.
