Senior Picnic, Under the Oaks, Noon 
The Office of Alumni Engagement will host a farewell picnic for all graduating members of the senior class and Elon faculty and staff.

Senior Gala, McKinnon Hall, Moseley Center, 8 – 11 p.m.
A senior celebration finale before the weekend festivities begin. Admission is free for graduating students. Guest tickets are $10. Semi-formal attire requested.


Thursday, May 17

Donning of the Kente Ceremony & Reception, McKinnon Hall, Moseley Center,
6 – 9 p.m. 
Invitations will be sent to graduates and families by the Office of Alumni Engagement. Parking is available in the McMichael parking lot. For information, call (336) 278-7448

Master of Arts in Interactive Media Commencement, Whitley Auditorium, 7 p.m.
Reception to follow at Steers Pavilion for graduates, families and guests.


Friday, May 18

ROTC Commissioning Ceremony, Holt Chapel, South Campus, 11 a.m.
Reception to follow at Harden Clubhouse for commissioned officers, family and guests.

Receptions for Graduates and their families, hosted by faculty of Elon College and the schools of Business, Communications and Education, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

    (Rain location: First Floor, Koury Business Center)

Baccalaureate, Alumni Gym, Koury Center, 3 p.m.
Graduates are invited to sit with their families for Baccalaureate.

Celebration of Leaders of the Twenty-First Century, Great Hall, Global Neighborhood,
5 p.m.
Graduating Business Fellows, Communications Fellows, Elon College Fellows, Honors Fellows, Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows, Lumen Scholars, Teaching Fellows and Periclean Scholars will be recognized at a ceremony that highlights their talents and accomplishments. A reception will follow.

Legacy Reception for Graduates and their Alumni Parents, Grandparents and Siblings, Lakeside Hall, 2nd Floor, 5 – 6:30 p.m.
If a parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle or cousin of a graduate is an Elon alum, an invitation will be mailed by the Office of Alumni Engagement. Parking is available in the McMichael parking lot. If you have questions, please call (877) 784-3566.

Reception for International Graduates and their Families, Global Education Center, Room 301, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Management Commencement, Whitley Auditorium, 7 p.m.
Reception to follow at Steers Pavilion for graduates, families and guests. 


Saturday, May 19

Continental BreakfastMacMahon Terrace, Inman Admissions Welcome Center, 7:30 – 8:45 a.m.
Faculty and the Office of Alumni Engagement host families and guests at a continental breakfast. Breakfast promptly ends at 8:45 a.m.

Graduates assemble in Alumni Gym, 8 a.m.
Graduating students must be in Alumni Gym promptly at 8 a.m. in caps and gowns. Faculty and staff will organize the lines of march.

128th Commencement Exercises, Scott Plaza/Young Commons, Processional begins at 9:15 a.m.

Reception for Graduates, Inman Admissions Welcome Center lawn. Graduates and their families can meet at a reception hosted by academic departments and the Office of Alumni Engagement. Lemonade will be served.

Elon Graduation Buffet, Alamance Country Club. A buffet will be open to Elon families, special guests, faculty and staff, immediately following Commencement. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling Marty Smith at (336) 584-0345 or via email at msmith@alamancecc.net. The price per person is $29.95, plus a 20% service charge and N.C. sales tax. Payment can be made via cash or credit card the day of the event.

Rain location for Commencement is Alumni Gymnasium in Koury Center. A rain plan will be implemented. Tickets are required for the rain plan.


Sunday, May 20

Graduation Mass, Numen Lumen Pavilion, Academic Village, 10:30 a.m.

Catholic Campus Ministry offers a Mass for any graduates and their families and guests who are on campus Sunday morning.
