INSIGHTS:

“I consider the Elon Law Advantage to be community. I think because Elon Law does not accept a large number of students, they are particular about the students they let in, it’s a close-knit group.”

“I apply analytical skills on a daily basis that I developed at Elon Law. I know students might wonder how coursework like issue spotting and rule spotting and analyzing and reaching a conclusion is going to carry out into the practice of law, but that is actually something that I use on a daily basis. All of those skills continue to carry value with me and I build upon those in my practice of law.”

“I really enjoyed being apart of moot court and traveling to competitions. It was really rewarding to work with Dean Woodlief and Justice Exum, who was on the North Carolina Supreme Court, and actually get feedback from them on how to argue and present an argument to the court.”

“I really enjoy helping people. I know that may sound cliché, but I really enjoy that aspect of the law.”
