Becoming the first member in your family to attend college is a huge accomplishment. Now you must navigate college and we are here to support you along the way. Housed in the Center for Access and Success, First-Generation Student Support Services works with first-generation college students to support them in their journey toward graduation.

“First-generation” is defined as…

any college student who is first in their family to attend college (neither parent or guardian having earned a four-year college degree).

Come to Center for Access and Success and speak to our campus staff, Oscar Miranda, Assistant Director for Access and Student Support, for any support or questions you may have.
