Applications to the Master of Arts in Higher Education program will be evaluated by the MHE Admissions Committee in mid-January. All applicants will be notified of their admission status during the third week of January. Applicants extended an invitation to a Preview Weekend experience will be offered the choice to participate in either the on-campus or virtual Preview Weekend program. Every Preview Weekend attendee will be given full consideration for a scholarship; no separate application form is necessary for scholarship consideration.

We hope applicants invited for Preview Weekend will come to experience first-hand the ambience of the campus and meet with current students, faculty, and staff in-person. However, anyone for whom a campus visit is not feasible is welcome to participate in the Virtual MHE Preview Weekend program. We wish to provide all invited applicants with opportunities to learn more about the MHE program and Elon University, and interview for apprenticeship opportunities.

Both Preview Weekend formats will include an opportunity to learn more about the MHE program as well as interview with a faculty member and apprenticeship supervisors. Candidates must interview for, be offered, and accept an approved apprenticeship before final admission to the MHE program is granted. The apprenticeships for which students may apply to interview are described at Apprenticeships.

Applicants who submitted a completed application by the January 9th deadline will receive full consideration for invitations to Preview Weekend. Applications completed after the deadline will be considered based on space availability.
