Research/Creative Interests
I am interested in: systemic inflammation, immunology, muscle physiology, women’s health and sex differences, and running/human performance.
What types of “data” do you commonly use?
I mainly use quantitative data. This could be FCS files from a flow cytometer, demographics, fluorescence data, proteomics data/mass spec, image data, large population data sets, experimental data sets (e.g., control vs exp), absorbance, optical data (FNIRS). Analyses above, but commonly t tests, correlations/regressions, correlation matrices for data exploration, PCA for high dimensional data.
What types of collaborations are you open to?
To start, faculty, student or staff! I also want to collaborate with athletics. I am interested in human performance, cellular biology, human state prediction, human machine teaming, biomedical engineering, and applied health sciences
What agencies, organizations, or foundations do you have experience with to apply for grants?
- NIH
- ACSM
- DARPA
- ARPA-H
Student Qualifications
- Exercise Science

- As a first generation college student, I am interested in working with other first generation college students.
