Research/Creative Interests
I am interested in capital market research, reporting frequency, auditing, employee and management characteristics, earnings management, executive compensation, relative performance evaluation, accounting education, diversity, information systems, and data science. I am also open to exploring other areas. I enjoy working with both primary and secondary data, as well as conducting both quantitative and qualitative research.
What types of “data” do you commonly use?
I commonly use quantitative archival data, such as historical company financial data from Compustat and IBES. I typically employ regression analysis and descriptive statistics to identify trends and make predictions. Additionally, I am comfortable with qualitative data analysis, using content analysis to extract themes from collected samples.
What types of collaborations are you open to?
I am open and interested to collaborate with students, staffs and faculties.
Student Qualifications
I am interested in students who are curious, self-motivated, hard workers, and have an interest in presenting in conferences and publishing their work in a journal.
