Dr. Shawn Tucker
Research/Creative Interests
I’m trained to do interdisciplinary work in the Humanities, and my dissertation dealt with a group of paintings and a poem as contrasting responses to the cultural crisis that resulted in the wake of the Great War. I have published books on the seven deadly sins, the seven virtues, as well as pride and humility as well as articles on Humanities pedagogy, Jasper Johns, and Radiohead. I have also published a book that takes an interdisciplinary approach to laughter.
