What are some highlights from the last 40 years?

  • After graduation I taught Seventh grade until I married and had three children.
  • I became the quintessential soccer mom trying to juggle three kids. My daughter, Adrienne swam for UNCW and obtained a law degree from U of Richmond and lives in Raleigh with my grandson Colt. My son Zack, played soccer at Greensboro and has his own marketing company in Colorado where I spend a lot of time. And my son Mason is in Greensboro and when not playing music, is in college.
  • I married my husband Doug and we had 36 years together. Unfortunately he passed away in 2018.

Who would you particularly like to see at the reunion (virtual and in-person)?

Really? Everyone. I went to Homecoming last year and enjoyed spending time with my ASA sisters.

How many (and/or) who of your classmates do you still keep in contact with today?

FB allows me to keep up with many.

What is your favorite Elon memory?

  • So many outstanding memories. Being a founding sister of ASA. The friendships and most of all obtaining my degree.
  • I especially enjoyed Dr. Ann Ponder. Loved the football games, Greek Week, parties and all the memories.

What is something interesting that you want your classmates to know about you?

I worked at NCSU and while working I got a certificate in Horticulture. I love to collect heirloom seeds and garden. I always have a book in hand if my hands are not in dirt.
