Anyone is welcome to attend any of the events listed, however some programs are designed with specific populations in mind. Please note that dates, times, and locations are subject to change. Additional events may be added in the coming weeks.

Join the Inn at Elon team for a guided tour of Elon’s 4-star, 80-room boutique hotel. This new addition to Elon’s campus is “a stay with a purpose” as revenue beyond operating cost goes to student scholarships. The tour will take you inside a guest room, The Mark at Elon restaurant, and the beautiful meeting and event spaces. This tour is limited to 25 participants.

Rock the Block: #ElonHome Community Block Party

Kick off your Homecoming weekend festivities at this block party with the entire Elon community of alumni, faculty/staff and students. Sample the menus of different food trucks, challenge your friends to a game of corn hole, dance to live music performed by The Band Punch, or play with your children at one of the inflatables or activities just for kids. It will be an evening of fun for everyone!

Loy Farm Open House

5 – 6 p.m.
Loy Farm

Loy Farm includes a solar farm and the Elon Environmental Center, which includes the responsible design studio, forest classroom and agricultural farm. Come learn about the sustainability initiatives taking place at Loy Farm. It is located at 2635 W Front Street Burlington, NC 27215, which is a short walk from main campus along the greenway path. Limited parking is also available on site.

50th Reunion Dinner

Department of Performing Arts Presents “42nd Street”

Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York City from Allenstown, Pennsylvania, with hopes of becoming a Broadway star. Facing adversity from all directions, the young and talented performer learns about show business and discovers which relationships are most important in life. This dance-heavy 1980 Tony Award winner for Best Musical is based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the 1933 Academy Award winning musical film. Elon’s deconstructed version will investigate gender norms and other contemporary issues. Admission: $15 or Elon ID. Tickets available beginning October 8.

We welcome all band alumni to join the current FOTC for lunch at the Center for the Arts at 12:00 PM. Band students will be returning from our Phoenix Walk performance, and we will have an hour to have lunch and prepare for the game. We would love for you to join us. If you are interested in participating in this lunch, a meal will be provided for $10.

During the game we invite all band alumni to perform with the band both in the stands, and during the pregame performance. Once we know who is coming, we can prepare music and instruments (if needed) for your arrival. No worries if you have not played since graduation; this is meant to be a welcome home party! If you are not interested in playing, fear not; you are more than welcome to hang with the band during the game and relive memories!

Elon vs. Villanova Football Game

2 – 5 p.m.

Don’t miss out on the Phoenix facing Villanova! Class and affinity reunion groups may select to sit together by using the drop-down menu on the second page of the registration form. (These block tickets will be available as supplies last.) Ticket price includes a $2 processing fee. All football tickets will be sent to alumni and guest’s smart phone via email or text from the Elon Athletics Ticket Office. If you have any questions regarding your football tickets, please direct them to the Elon Athletics ticket office at athtickets@elon.edu.

Inn at Elon Tour, Saturday

Turning 21 Dinner Celebration

The School of Communications will celebrate its 21st birthday with a dinner and reception in our facilities. We’ll honor our alum of the year, unveil our distinguished alumni wall and look back at our beginnings as a program and school. The event will begin with a reception in the Jane and Brian Williams Studio in McEwen before moving to a dinner in the Snow Family Grand Atrium. Speakers include President Connie Book, Dean Emeritus Paul Parsons, Dean Rochelle Ford and Maity Interiano ’07. Registration is required.

55th Reunion Dinner

Time to celebrate 55 years! The Class of 1966 invites the classes of 1964, 1965, and 1967 and guests to join us for a special event. We will start the evening with cocktails and conversation. Dinner will begin at 7:15 pm. Enjoy nostalgic slide presentations with 1960’s music and songs from today. We will take a trip down “Memory Lane” with photos during our years at Elon and reunions over the past 50 years. Please join us for this special event!
