During Summer Session I and II, Elon University offers online courses for currently enrolled undergraduate students. These courses are the same number of credit hours as those taught on campus and the tuition is the same. Similar to traditional Elon courses, summer online students will be expected to participate in class discussions, complete assignments, take tests, etc.
The main difference between traditional classroom-based courses and online courses is the mode of delivery. Summer online courses are as rigorous as on-campus courses; however, they depend on students being comfortable and competent using Moodle. Summer online courses are offered entirely over the Internet.
