What are the benefits of strength training?

-Develop strong bones. By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis and the risk of bone fractures.

-Manage weight. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight and can increase your metabolism to help burn more calories. The more muscle tone you have, the higher your metabolism will become.

-Decreased Risk of Injury. Strength training can protect your joints from injury and can improve your ability to do everyday activities. Building muscle can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This will allow your body to be more resistant to injuries and general aches and pains.
