Substance Education & Collegiate the Recovery Community

Elon recognizes alcohol misuse negatively impacts the community, personal well-being, and academic achievement. Therefore, our position on alcohol is one of education and accountability. We want to support parents in guiding students as they become a member of our campus community. As a first-year student, your college student will likely face real decisions about drinking and we join you in wanting them to be prepared. Join this session to learn more about Elon’s approach to substance education and the recovery programs we offer.

Student Services in English and Spanish

This session includes general details about the transition to the University in both English and Spanish so families can feel prepared to support their students.

Academic Support in the Koenigsberger Learning Center 

This session introduces families to the support units of academic advising, learning assistance, and disabilities resources by providing a broad overview of what each unit offers students. Specific information will be shared regarding ways to access these services.

  • Elon Vice President for Inclusive Excellence Randy Williams provides this message as he announces a set of action steps related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Elon Bound Virtual Pre-Orientation is a required program for all new, incoming, first-year and transfer undergraduate students. Families can create a guest account and explore the virtual pre-orientation program. It includes a series of modules, videos and quizzes prepare you for your Elon journey.
  • Elon Bound Facebook Live series: these videos provide timely information on a variety of programs and experience including move-in and orientation.
