Denoting that the online format provided her the flexibility to complete classes without designated times, allowing her to be able to hold full-time jobs and internships while taking summer classes. Describing that each day or week, depending on the class, there were assignments with given due dates but it did not matter what time the work was completed. This was extremely beneficial as it accommodated her position working at an elementary school one summer and having an internship another summer.
Murphy encourages potential students to look at what classes are being offered in the summer, even if already on track to graduate on time. Expressing that similar to a winter term, summer semester gives plenty of opportunities to take interesting classes as electives that are not typically offered on-campus during the Fall or Spring.
