Health and wellness is more than getting your student to feel better during the sniffles, it is a lifestyle. In addition to the on-campus clinic, the R.N. Ellington Center, where your student can schedule appointments to be seen by a licensed medical professional, Elon's Office of Student Health and Wellness offers much, much more! This includes health education events and promotional initiatives throughout the academic year; private counseling sessions that are available through Counseling Services; and Campus Recreation which offers many opportunities to exercise in individual and group settings.

The Center for Leadership offers multiple opportunities for your student to grow as a leader whether it is through a fellowship, in the classroom, through the LEAD program, within a student organization, at Elon or beyond. The "Are You Ready" series is designed to prepare incoming students for the challenging and engaging intellectual climate at Elon. On the site, you'll find upcoming dates and deadlines, as well as resources about Orientation. Service and Civic Engagement - What does it all mean? |
Service and Civic Engagement is a core value at Elon and one of the five Elon Experiences. Through the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, Elon Volunteers!, a student-run organization, serves as the hub for volunteering and offers a wide variety of options from days of service to weekly volunteer opportunities. Elon students address issues of education, disability services, affordable housing, family services, human rights, mentoring and food security.
