Cannon Celebration Wraps Up The Year!

Monday night, at the annual Cannon Celebration, the Center for Leadership recognized students who had completed Phase III or IV of ICLP or Tier 1 or Tier 2 of the LEAD program! Brett Cooper '05 and Laura Lee Sturm '13 also addressed the crowd of over 100 students, faculty, and staff.

Ashley Fowler and Sam Italiano are awarded the Hilaire Pickett Grant!

Hilaire Pickett ’08 Leadership Grants were awarded to Ashley Fowler '14 and Sam Italiano '14. Ashley will be using the money to support the summer service trip to Malawi and Sam will be using the money to support the Handmade Co-Op.

Featured Program of the Month: AYLA

AYLA, or Alamance Youth Leadership Academy, is a middle school leadership program dedicated to empowering youth through the connections of civic engagement and leadership development. Every summer Elon University partners with Alamance Chamber of Commerce to host the Alamance Youth Leadership Academy summer institute.

Elon students will graduate with strong self-efficacy, the desire and ability to work collaboratively within diverse communities of people, as well as have the confidence and competence to put innovative ideas into action for positive change.
