Brief Biography

Jack Magill joined Elon University’s School of Health Sciences in 2021. He is a former graduate of Elon’s Department of Physical Therapy Education. Dr. Magill is recognized as a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists. His primary teaching responsibilities include musculoskeletal examination and treatment and clinical reasoning.  Dr. Magill is also the director of Elon's Sports Physical Therapy Residency. His clinical practice and research interests focus on rehabilitation and return to sport assessment following ACL reconstruction. His other research interests include injury and performance predictors in collegiate athletes, and predictors of DPT student success.
