Brief Biography

Charles Darden serves as the Program Assistant for Academic Affairs in the Honors College at Elon University. In this role, he supports faculty, staff, and students through program coordination, event planning, and day-to-day academic operations that enhance student success and engagement across the Honors community.

Before joining Elon, Charles worked as a Program Assistant for the College of Engineering’s CR2C2 Program at North Carolina A&T State University, where he provided administrative and programmatic support focused on student development and academic enrichment.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. Charles is passionate about fostering meaningful connections between students and faculty, ensuring each member of the academic community has the resources and support they need to thrive.

In his free time, Charles enjoys working out, acting, and performing as a professional wrestler.
