Brief Biography
Worked at ESPN for seven years in both the Research and Analytics and International Ad Sales departments, collaborating closely with ESPN offices in Mexico, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Author of the books Game On: How Sports Media Grew Up, Sold Out and Got Personal With Billions of Fans and Over/Under: An Unexpected History of Sports Betting which was named a "most anticipated nonfiction book of the year" by The New York Times, an "Amazon Book Review Editor's Pick" and a "Next Big Idea Club Must Read Book Pick." Has been published in the Washington Post, the Boston Globe and Sports Business Journal. Runs Elon's Sports Media Lab and coordinates sport-related opportunities in Florence, Italy. Came to Elon in 2014.
