Brief Biography
Dr. Reardon joins the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business from Florida Atlantic University, where he earned his Ph.D. in Finance. His research explores how financial technologies are reshaping entrepreneurial finance, with a focus on equity crowdfunding, venture capital, and the intersection of corporate finance with emerging markets. His work has been published in Research Policy, Finance Research Letters, and the Journal of Small Business Management, and he regularly contributes to scholarly and professional discussions on crowdfunding governance, fintech trends, and the role of intellectual property in entrepreneurship.
In the classroom, Dr. Reardon emphasizes applied problem-solving and critical thinking, drawing on real-world financial challenges. He has taught courses in financial modeling, financial institutions, and advanced cases in financial management.
