The initiative that launched Elon By Design also supported creating many unique physical spaces on campus.

Center for Design Thinking

Elon By Design needed a flexible space. Elon’s learning environment designers built the Center for Design thinking to accommodate large group interaction, one-on-one conversations and individual work. The space allows for reconfiguration and interaction with large design tools.

Maker Hubs

Elon’s Maker Hub locations offer training, space and tools to students, faculty and staff. The Maker Hubs are packed with equipment for fabricating and prototyping. People come from across the university to work on projects for fun, as part of coursework, or as entrepreneurs developing new products. Learn more.
