Transition Information
Canvas will become Elon’s primary Learning Management System beginning in August 2026.
- Summer 2026 courses continue in Moodle.
- Students will begin using Canvas for coursework in August 2026.
- Student access to Moodle is expected to end on October 23, 2026.
- Faculty and Staff access to Moodle is expected to end on December 31, 2026.
Students: If there are files or projects you would like to keep from Moodle, we encourage you to download them before October 23, 2026.
Faculty and Staff: If there are Moodle courses or course materials you would like to keep, we encourage you to back up your courses before December 31, 2026.
