Alison Doherty

Alison supports School of Communications students, including COM/SPT and iMedia students, with their professional development.  She advises students in one-on-one appointments and can assist with resumes and cover letters, career/major exploration, interview prep, job and internship search, LinkedIn, and e-portfolios.  Her goal is to proactively inform, guide, and empower students so they can problem-solve, make informed decisions, and develop holistically, allowing them to reach their full potential. 

Prior to this position, Alison served as a Career Advising Fellow at Elon for the 2019-2020 academic year.  She is also a proud Elon graduate with a background in education, and has previously worked as a special education resource teacher for grades K-2.
