Brief Biography
David Moura is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Management in the Love School of Business at Elon University. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, he earned his MBA and PhD in Organizational Studies from Florida Atlantic University, and a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Evansville. Before joining academia, Dr. Moura spent 15 years with Sprint, where he built expertise in partnership development, product training, and account management.
Since joining Elon in 2018, Dr. Moura has taught courses in Strategic Management (undergraduate and MBA) and Introduction to Business. His research interests include stigma and scandal in organizations, strategizing activities and practices (SAP), and organizational processes. He has presented at national and international conferences, and his work has been published in journals such as Organization Studies, Administration & Society, and Management Teaching Review.
