Brief Biography

Svetlana Nepocatych, PhD, RD is a faculty member in the Department of Exercise Science. Dr. Nepocatych received her Master's in Human Nutrition and Ph.D. in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama. Since 2011 she has been teaching courses in Exercise Science and Food Studies at Elon University. Her research interests are in the areas of: cardiometabolic health, appetite and satiety, dietary intake and body composition of athletic and general populations. She is a licensed Registered Dietician.
