Campus Recreation strives to provide quality recreational
experiences for the campus community in an effort to promote
the wise, lifelong use of leisure opportunities. Our student
leadership and teamwork models allow students a forum for the
practical application of classroom theories, as well as the
opportunity to develop professional competencies.

The Koury Center, Elon's 54,000 square foot recreation
and athletic facility, features a fitness center, group
exercise studios, indoor pool, gymnasium and
racquetball courts.

There were over 166,000 participant visits to the Campus
Recreation facility in 2007-2008

Nearly 50% of Elon's students participate in at least
one intramural or club sport activity.

Since 1999, 25 Campus Recreation student leaders have
earned graduate assistantships in some of the nation's
leading university recreation programs.
