Center for Leadership prepares students to lead with purpose by realizing the nature, potential and responsibility of leadership in its attempt to create positive change for the common good.

Elon Academy inspires academically oriented students who are often underrepresented on college and university campuses to pursue higher education, build leadership skills, and develop an active sense of social responsibility.

Institute for Politics and Public Affairs at Elon has joined 11 other universities to form the National Campaign for Political & Civic Engagement.  The National Campaign is dedicated to the mission of developing politically engaged and civic-minded students.

Kernodle Center for Service Learning at Elon University, in partnership with local and global communities, advances student learning, leadership, and citizenship to prepare students for lives of active community engagement within a complex and changing world.

North Carolina Campus Compact is a coalition of colleges and universities collaborating to increase campus-wide participation in community and public service.

Project Pericles at Elon University was initiated in 2002 when Elon became one of 10 universities to accept a challenge from the Eugene Lang Foundation to provide a learning experience that would instill in students an abiding sense of social responsibility and civic concern.

Social Entrepreneurship Scholars seeks to create and sustain positive change in communities.  Scholars work closely with community leaders and organizations to create new initiatives to serve the public good.  Through engaging in a process of research, partnership-building, planning, and innovation, social entrepreneurs take risks and act boldly to find innovative, sustainable solutions to community problems.
